Six time BMI award winning composer John Nooney is a graduate of the University of Montana. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles he began writing music for television advertisements and performing in various bands in Los Angeles. He toured Europe with Greg Dulli and the Twilight Singers and had the opportunity to record the critically acclaimed “Covers” album. He then met composer Russ Landau and started composing music for the television show “Survivor”. Eventually he began working with composers David Vanacore, Kevin Kiner, and David Steinberg. John found a niche composing to picture and has written, recorded and produced 16 television themes and thousands of music underscore cues. In addition to underscore he played on countless recordings, re-recorded and mixed the Stevie Wonder song “Signed Sealed Delivered” for the animated feature Postman Pat, wrote and produced the theme for PUBG’S PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Global Championship (featuring singer Ryan Edger), performs in the local LA band “Deadwood Jones”and is the owner of West Valley Records hiring the talents of producer Dave Darling to record the debut album for Americiana Artist Bernie Barlow.
